So my cat saw this chipmunk under some rocks and was chasing it. I went back inside and came back out 2 minutes later. To my surprise, my cat had chased it inside this blue plastic trashcan my mom uses to recycle grocery bags. So, basically this chipmunk was at the bottom of the trashcan. So of course I thought: “Omg. Perfect picture opportunity.” I immediately run inside to call my mom asking her where she kept the leather gloves and explained to her the situation.

She stayed on the phone with me as I went to go do so.

I went outside with gloves in hand, still on the phone, and took the bag of plastic grocery bags out of the trashcan. I reached inside. The chipmunk was trying to escape, I grabbed ahold of it. It wriggled free and ran behind this couch in my garage.

So this hide and seek game lasted about 15 minutes until it finally got outside of the garage and into the yard. I chased it around, back in the garage, back outside. Finally the poor thing got tired and was slowing down. I finally grabbed it, my mom hung up, and I got the cutest fucking pictures of it. EVER!
